Our Team

The Enemies Project is run by a small, dedicated team—Larry and his daughter, Sadie, at the core.

But we couldn’t do it alone!

We’re deeply grateful to the volunteers who have stepped in along the way. Some found us through a single episode that moved them. Others reached out because they believe, like we do, that division isn’t the end of the story. They’ve offered their time, their skills, and their care and we couldn't be more grateful!

Creator and Host

"I created The Enemies Project for my kids and your kids.  I worry that we can't solve any important problems when we focus or energy and creativity on destroying the other side.  In a world of war, understanding is my form of rebellion."

"The Enemies Project for me is hope; a way to fight back against the bitterness and division I see all around me. I do this work because I want to inherit a world where people chose understanding over anger."

"In today’s saturated digital landscape, it’s hard to find something of substance. For me, working on The Enemies Project has been driven by both purpose and meaning: to help create content that nurtures connection rather than division.

"In a world so divided, creating space for people to truly understand each other feels like one of the only things that actually helps. I wanted to contribute in the way I know best,  through design. For me, it’s all about doing good work for good people."

"The Enemies Project offers one of the most meaningful antidotes to the hostility surrounding our political differences. I do this work because I believe in the butterfly effect that empathy is capable of creating. But most importantly, I want to live in a world that disarms hatred and reminds people that disagreement does not make us enemies. "

"To me, the Enemies Project represents an alternative path in our bipolar political climate, and a form of resistance against the division of our society into enemy camps. It seeks to reinforce feelings of radical empathy, understanding, and shared responsibility, which our democracy desperately needs."

"Any conscious movement towards societal change must recognize that its fundamental pretext lies in the strength and cohesion of human nature, the ability to see oneself in another. Through the Enemies Project, I see champions of every cause begin to understand the sincerity of this foundation, and intuitively grasp how empathy can open up their possibilities for healthy and productive collaboration with others."

Would You Like To Help?

Many have contacted us asking if they can volunteer.  They want to actively create the world they prefer to live in.  We are presently looking for volunteers wth the following skills:

- PR: So far we have received almost no news coverage. We'd love for that to change.

- Casting: If you have a great idea for an episode AND can source two compelling participants, reach out!

- Studio Assistance: If you live near Oakland CA and have film experience, we could use help maintaining the studio, and assistance on filming days.

Email info@EnemiesProject.org if you can help!
